Every time I make a choice I define myself. I decide whether to live this new moment as a creator or as a victim.

What you are being in each moment defines who you are, and as you cultivate awareness you notice patterns of behaviour based in victimhood and manipulation. Then you begin to change them and let them go, because you realise they make you suffer.

How many times do you find yourself thinking, “I am not happy because of what you did to me”“I do not like how you are”“if you change I could be happy”? We point this out, but the finger must always turn back to ourselves.

The earlier you spot those automatic behaviours that bring you suffering, the sooner you can take responsibility, become aware of your freedom to choose, and begin to create what you want.

I am here to share with you how I realized that things are not nearly as bad as we think, that they are incredibly more wonderful and fantastic than we could have dreamed. It’s time to stop worrying and start creating a world worth living for, and that starts with each one of us. Do not think that the current world situation is a problem caused by others. It is your responsibility and that of each one of us. At all times, there is an option: you can choose fear, or you can choose love. You can surrender to what is, or you can resist.

We may feel comfortable, but if we stay stuck in the known we will never experience our full potential. Inertia never brings us joy: it ultimately leads us to dissatisfaction. What would happen if life were to become light, happy, innocent, a celebration of the joy present in each moment? What would happen if life could change from drama and tragedy to excitement and adventure, from a black and distressing film to a romantic and light comedy, one where you finally discover that your only true love, all along, was yourself?

Who ever you are in the future will be defined by who you are now. Your evolution is determined by your responses to what happens each day, and evolution is joy. Ask yourself: Am I loving myself? Am I becoming the person my heart longs to be? Am I being more love? While you are waiting, be it for a miracle or a disaster, you are rejecting the opportunity right now to choose something new, which can actively generate transformation in yourself and in the world.

As you begin this exciting and stimulating journey, my dear reader, this great investigation into the depths of your being, I will ask you to do something. Instead of waiting to see results in the future, define who you are going to be in this moment. That’s the difference between a victim and a creator. A creator determines who he will be, while the victim waits to see what will happen. Every moment you lose worrying about your future, is energy that you could use to transform your current reality. The moment is now.
