Unification Isha Judd
Stress and burnout

Tiredness leaves by letting go, not by sleeping.

You live tired and the day is never enough. Unification is a simple practice to stop holding what isn't yours to carry.

This might sound familiar

Signs that it's happening to you

You reach the night empty

You rest and it isn't enough

You snap over small things

What it's about

Resting is not sleeping more

You can sleep eight hours and wake up just as heavy. That tiredness isn't fixed by sleeping, because it doesn't come from the body: it comes from holding, all day long, things that aren't yours to carry. The practice gives you back the place from which to let them go.

How Unification supports you

01

You stop without going anywhere

A few minutes, no special posture, no absolute silence.

02

You let go of what you were carrying

You start telling apart what's yours from what was put on you.

03

The day starts to work differently

You react less, you sleep better, and something is left for you.

A practice to start with

A few minutes when there is nothing left

This is a first Unification practice. It takes a few minutes and asks you neither to sort out your day nor to feel like it:

  1. 1Choose the moment of the day when you have nothing left: leaving work, before walking into your home, or once everyone is asleep.
  2. 2Close your eyes, if you are somewhere safe to do so.
  3. 3Gently bring your attention to the area of your heart.
  4. 4Repeat internally: «Praise love for this moment in its perfection».
  5. 5Stay there for a few moments and then go on with what you were doing, at your own pace.

Questions

What we get asked the most

  • How much time does it take a day?

A few minutes. You can do it while commuting, before walking into your house, or at night. You don't need to set aside an hour or a special place.

  • Do I need to know how to meditate?

No. There's no posture, no special breathing, and no need to empty your mind. If you never meditated, it's just as simple.

  • What if I have no time at all?

That's exactly the case. Starting doesn't add one more task: it gives you back the time you spend today holding what isn't yours.
