National Gendarmerie of Chile · Agreement for every prison in the country

On May 17, 2011, Isha Judd signed an official agreement with Chile's National Gendarmerie to offer her system in every prison in the country. In 2010 her foundation had already been incorporated, by decree, into the institution's Civil Society Council.
In a statistical study of the results, 55% of inmates reported higher self-esteem thanks to the practice. 54% said they felt less aggressive, and 66% reported improved relationships with others.
On June 5, 2013, Isha taught nearly 200 students at the National Gendarmerie School, as part of the School's 2013 Happiness program; the School presented her with a letter of recognition that same day.
In Uruguay, the Foundation established an agreement with the Ministry of the Interior and the National Directorate of Prisons: inmates who completed the Education for Peace programs received a sentence reduction by law, and their participation counted as a favorable record in parole applications.
Thousands of educational activities followed across all kinds of institutions in Latin America, especially in the most neglected and socially at-risk places.
