Recommendations

1. The Isha Judd Center is a place of conscienceness where large groups of people come and participate. Therefore, we must strictly observe and follow safety and hygiene regulations. We reserve the right of admission.  Thus, entry to the Center is NOT allowed to people with infectious-contagious diseases such as: Pediculosis (lice, nits), Scabies (mange), Tuberculosis, Hepatitis A, Mumps, Chickenpox, Measles . This is why we thank you for taking the necessary precautions and not come to the Center if you suffer from any of the aforementioned diseases.

Important: People that are infected with COVID-19 must wait until they are medically cleared by the doctor before beginning their program.

Included you will find the Protocol that students must follow upon arrival and during their stay at the Isha Judd Center. Since COVID-10, this is all part of the process of returning to the new normal.

REMEMBER: Download the protocol. You must bring a signed hard copy.

2. If you are under psychiatric or psychological treatment, the written authorization of your doctor or therapist is essential in order for you to participate in the program.

3. If you are taking any medication, it is important that you bring the prescription with the doctor’s authorization.

4. The consumption of alcohol or narcotic substances is prohibited inside the Center and during the time that you are doing the program. You can not enter the premises if your are under the influence. Failure to comply with this important rule means you will be suspended and immediately terminated from the program. There will be no exchange or refund of any money paid. We ask you be 100% responsibile because you are coming to participate in an intense process of internal transformation.  A urine test will be performed if there is any suspicion a person has consumed alcohol or taken any narcotic substance. Smoking cigarettes is prohibited inside the Centers buildings. There are designated smoking areas. Also, the Center reserves the right to end the participation in the program of individuals who use physical or verbal violence, therefore violating the basic rules of coexistence.

Failure to comply or trying to cheat on any of these last 4 recommendations will automatically void the contract and / or the right to continue participating in the event. Sanctions may include immediate eviction from the Center of the person (s) involved. If this sanction is applied to the individual (s) that violate the afore-mentioned rules, the Center will not be made financially responsible and there will be no re-imbursement of any money paid.

5. During this 1-month retreat we have a special diet that will help your body detox and improve digestion. The diet is as follows: for breakfast we will serve seasonal fruits and oatmeal; for lunch we will serve vegetables and salads; and for dinner we will serve vegetables, grains, pasta, etc. The idea is that you follow this diet as it will facilitate you going deeper and deeper into the introspection process. If you feel like you want to add more food to your diet you may eat healthy foods such as raisins, almonds, walnuts, chestnuts or peanuts. It is highly recommended that you follow this diet and not drink sodas nor eat sweets, canned food, etc. If you have health issues and can not follow this diet, you must bring a medical certificate with the specific recommendations and your health condition/diagnosis. Special diets are available for cases like these and special meals will be prepared with food the Center uses in their kitchen. If you need to eat something special because of medical reasons and the Center does not have nor use that food in their kitchen, you will have to buy it and add it to your dish. The Center offers, at an additional cost, special foods and drinks such as detox juices, chia pudding, eggs, protein shakes, etc.

IMPORTANT: You are not allowed to cook nor store food in the rooms. This includes but is not limited to fruit, cookies, chocolate, leftovers, etc.

6. You are responsible for paying to get your clothes washed. A laundry company comes to the Center to pick up and deliver your clothes.

IMPORTANT: You are not allowed to wash clothes in the bathrooms or rooms of the Center.
