Health recommendations:

1. Isha Judd Center is a house of conscience where many activities are carried out, therefore, we must observe norms of safety and hygiene for the care of all. For this reason people with infectious diseases that could affect others, such as: Pediculosis (lice, nits), Scabies, Tuberculosis, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis C, Parotitis (mumps), Chickenpox, Measles are not accepted in the centre.

2. Also, the consumption of alcoholic beverages or narcotic drugs inside the Center is prohibited as is entering the enclosure under the effects of same; Smoking is prohibited in the interior areas.

3. f you are under psychological or psychiatric treatment, you must bring a report from the professional who is treating you, where you are specifically authorized to participate in the Meditative retreat at the Isha Judd Center Uruguay. (Download the application for your professional in PDF format).

Failure to comply with any of the last three health recommendations will mean that the person will not be able to do the meditative education retreat and will need to leave the facility immediately, without this representing any economic responsibility on the part of the Center.

This is necessary so that this beautiful time of practice and retreat is as profitable as possible for all to ensure we can share the process of expansion of consciousness and self-knowledge together in the best possible conditions.

Travel to the Center:

– From Montevideo the recommendation is (from Puerto, Bus Terminal of Tres Cruces, Center or Carrasco Airport) to get the 711 bus going to Costa Azul from Copsa, the cost is 70 Uruguayan pesos (about 3 dollars, but you must pay it in Uruguayan pesos).
Ask the driver to leave you at the stop nearest to the Centro Isha, or Ex Hotel Lido Azul in front of the main square of Costa Azul de Canelones. The bus will leave you in the square and from there you need to walk half a block towards the sea to reach the Center.

The exact address of our center is Rambla General Artigas at the corner with Alfonsina Storni, Costa Azul, Canelones; And our phones 4373-6994 and 4373-7202. (Find us in Google Maps)

If you arrive at the port of Montevideo: you can take a bus from the Rio Branco Terminal (which is about 10 blocks from the port). You can walk if your suitcase is not big, leaving the port on the left or ideally as it is a bit far, take a taxi that in 5 minutes leaves you in this terminal, which is where the 711 buses leave Costa Azul company Copsa, therefore, always have seats available. This trip takes approximately 2 hours.

If you arrive at the Tres Cruces bus terminal: you are two blocks from a stop where the 711 Costa Azul buses from Copsa company pass. Exit to the right by the main door of the terminal, you will see a short block where there are exchange houses, just go to the end of the block, from there you turn right and see the place. This trip lasts approximately 1:30 hr.

If you arrive at the airport of Carrasco, Montevideo: there is a special stop at the airport for the 711 Costa Azul bus company Copsa, so you do not have to walk, just ask if you are going to Costa Azul de Canelones, because the same line goes in the other direction to Montevideo. This trip takes about 50 minutes.

These buses are very cheap, but they have the disadvantage of not having a trunk for luggage, so you have to carry it with you, so we recommend them only if you come with little luggage. Another drawback is that depending on the time, they can pass full, although they usually have seats. They run from 7 am to 10 pm, and they pass every hour.

In the case of anyone coming by Punta del Este, there is no direct transport to the center and the taxis are much more expensive. The recommendation is always to travel through Montevideo, but if you come from Punta del Este, a cheaper option is to take a bus to Montevideo and get off at the “Atlántida” stop, and from there you can take a taxi, which in less 10 minutes reaches our center, or you can take the same 711 bus Costa Azul Copsa company, from Atlantida, on the route interbalnearia at the shop Tienda Inglesa.

You can also take a taxi from the airport, the bus station or the port, or an Uber with your mobile.
